A DAY AT THE PRESBYTERIAN THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY (PTS) IN KUMBA

PORTRAIT OF STAFF MEMBERS IN 2013. In the centre clutching a Bible is the Dean, Rev. Dr. Muyo Joshua. At the extreme right in an African shirt is Rev. Dr. Mbengu David, Vice Dean in Charge of Students` Affairs. Behind the Dean is Rev. Lambiv L. Yele, Lecturer and Pastor of the Kumba-Kosala Congregation.

A CROSS SECTION OF STUDENTS AT PTS
Today was the start of the new semester at the institution and I was their guest, firstly because although I had heard a lot about the seminary and noticed the high quality of its trainees both male and female, I had not yet visited the place. I also used the visit to address the student body on my book, SAY NO TO AIDS. It is a collection of poems in English and French aimed at sensitization against HIV AIDS. It is prefaced by the Minister of Public Health and produced with the support of the National AIDS Control Committee. The Ministry of Secondary Education from September 2013 put it on the National Book List for HIV AIDS in seven Anglophone classes and four Francophone ones.
