RUBBING SHOULDERS WITH THE BIG AND FAMOUS In this picture, I am with Madam Rose Abunaw Makia, at the time Vice President of Cameroon`s National Assembly. The occasion was the launching of three of my books in Yaounde in 2005.They were `THE WOODEN BICYCLE` (Short stories), `SIGHS AND WHISPERS FROM WITHIN` (Poems) and `A TOI MAMAN CAMEROUN` (Poems in honour of the Cameroonian woman). I am honoured and privileged to have been a classmate to the Honourable member of Parliament.We attened St. Francis Primary School, Bambili (popularly known as `Ntseywi` a reference to the big stream that flows majestically along the school`s boundary, just like the River Niger flowed before the very eyes of Mungo Park.
