MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD ON OUR RADIO.

By Tikum Mbah Azonga

Two weeks ago, I was appointed Station Manager of FOUNDATION RADIO
based in Ngomgham QUARTER OF Mankon, Bamenda in Cameroon.

The team that I lead and I are prepared to take the radio to places.
In the next few months, we expect to go online so that wherever you
are, you can listen to us. We will revive the Diaspora programme we
ran some time ago. This consisted of enabling Cameroonians in the
Diaspora to phone in live and participate.

In the meantime, we invite you to let us hear from you. Feel free to
send us brief reports on what is going on in your community. This
applies not only to Cameroonians in the Diaspora but also those here
at home. Your story could be on the Cameroonian community where you
live or work, the community of your host country, some general
perspective, or just any topic you like. You are allowed to greet a
few people when writing. By the way, we are looking at some of the
posts on the worldwide Cameroonian social media and reporting some of
their events on the Radio.

If you need a sample recording of one of our programmes, we can send
it to you online. We have them recorded and can let you have a
foretaste of what it’s all about.

I have found the standards at Foundation Radio to be very high and we
are bent on making them even higher. I pay due homage to my cherished
predecessor, Chris Forgwe (Daddy Chris) and before him, the CEO of the
Foundation, as well as the entire team, for these standards. Chris
Forgwe and I run a programme you can`t afford to miss. It is on from
5.30am to 7.am. He himself runs his own highly acclaimed WHO IS WHO in
which he chats with personalities who have made their mark in one way
or another. Chris Forgwe who is Special Adviser,  has held my hand
from Day I of my arrival at the Station. I thank him sincerely.

Foundation Radio is part of the THE FOMUNYOH FOUNDATION, set up by Dr.
Chris Fomunyoh. The other branches include a Library, an ITC Centre
and a Health Awareness Creation Unit.

STAY TUNED TO FOUNDATION RADIO, THE VOICE OF THE VOICELESS, FM 100.
