GRADUATION CEREMONY AT SAINT MONICA UNIVERSITY BUEA

This was graduation ("commencement", in the USA) at Saint Monica University, Kumba Road, Buea, where I am Director of Communications and Lecturer of Mass Communication,  yesterday, Saturday 4 June 2016. Saint Monica University (SMU) which is called "The American International University" yesterday graduated students with Bachelor's, Master's and PhD degrees and also awarded an Honorary Doctorate degree to a visiting American academic don, Prof. Ronnie Hopkins from Benedict College in South Carolina.

SMU offers courses on-campus and online as well as by Distance Education. It therefore has students in its ranks in a wide range of countries around the world. Some of those who graduated yesterday came from Nigeria, Equatorial Guinea, Canada, and the USA, to name those.

The President and CEO of the University is Prof. Januarius Jingwa Asongu who holds a PhD in Mass Communication and another PhD in Business Management.
