THE WEST AND THE MEASURE OF SANCTIONS

America and its European allies are contemplating a fresh round of sanctions to impose on Russia because of the latter`s alleged transgression in neighboring Ukraine. That is all fair and good.

But America is currently bombing Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) positions in Iraq. France sent troops into Côte D`Ivoire, Mali and the Central African Republic. Not so long ago, America invaded Iraq and had its President toppled and executed. A similar event happened in Libya. Today both Iraq and Libya are countries on their knees. Where are sanctions? And where are America and its western Allies?
