ENTRANCE EXAM INTO HTTTC KUMBA IS LAUNCHED

The competitive examination into the newly created Higher Technical Teachers` Training College (HTTTC) in Kumba, which is part of the University of Buea has been launched.

According to an order  made public by the Minister of Higher Education, Prof. Jacques Fame Ndongo, the entrance examination has been launched for both the first and second cycles of the institution.

The written papers for Year One of the  First Cycle will take place on the 27^th of August 2014 in Bafoussam, Bambili, Bertoua, Buea, Douala, Ebolowa, Garoua, Maroua, Ngoundere, Yaounde and Kumba.The closing date for the submission of completed application files for that Cycle is the 31^st of July 2013.The written examination for Year One of the Second Cycle is on the 30^th of August 2014. The examination  will be written in Bafoussam, Bambili, Bertoua, Buea, Douala, Ebolowa, Garoua, Maroua,Ngaoundere, Yaounde and Kumba. The closing date for the submission of completed application files is the 31^st of July 2014.

The departments for which candidates will apply and their different options for Year One of the First Cycle are as follows: Civil Engineering and Forestry Technics (Building Construction/Wood Work), Topography and Real Estate Management (Topography/Real Estate Management), Electrical and Power Engineering (Electronics/Electrotechnics), Mechanical Engineering (Mechanical Manufacturing/Automobile Mechanics), Social Economy and Family Management (Fashion, Clothing and Textiles/Home Economics), Computer Sciences (Fundamental Computer Sciences/Information Technology), Administrative Techniques (Information Management and Communication – IMC / Information and Communication Technologies – ICT), Management Sciences (Accountancy/Marketing), Tourism and Hospitality Management (Tourism/Hotel Management) and Renewable Energy (Renewable Energy Biomas, Wind and Solar).

The departments and options for the First Year of the Second Cycle are Civil Engineering (Building Construction/Woodwork), Topography and Real Estate Management (Topography/Real Estate Management), Electrical and Power Engineering (Electronics/Electrotechnics), Mechanical Engineering (Mechanical Manufacturing/Automobile Mechanics), Social Economy and Family Management (Fashion, Clothing and Textiles/Home Economics), Computer Sciences (Fundamental Computer Sciences/Information Technology), Administrative Techniques (Information Management and Communication – IMC / Information and Communication Technologies – ICT), Management Sciences (Accountancy/Marketing), Tourism and Hospitality Management (Tourism/Hotel Management),Law (Law), Science of Education (Education and Curriculum Studies), Guidance Counseling (Guidance Counseling), Agronomy (Agronomy).

Completed application files for Year One of the First Cycle are to be handed to HTTTC Kumba,the University of Buea, or Regional Delegations of Secondary Education. Those for Year One of the Second Cycle should be handed to HTTTC Kumba or Regional Delegations of Secondary Education.
