If FIFA President Sepp Blatter is to be taken seriously, then soon, football will not only be a “world” game. It will become “interplanetary.”

Just before the current World Cup competition kicked off in Brazil, Sepp Blatter said: “We should wonder if one day our game will be played on other planets. Why not? And then instead of a World Cup we would have an interplanetary competition.”

The FIFA President was speaking at the FIFA congress that opened in Sao Paolo, Brazil, prior to the start of the 2014 World Cup competition.
