Ngouabi (Congo-Brazzaville), Thomas Sankara (Burkina Faso) and Blaise Compaoré (Burkina
Faso) have made a name for being the Presidents of their respective countries.
Being military mean, they rose to power by the force of arms. We all probably
know that.
But did you
know that all three enrolled at the Yaounde military Academy (Ecole Militaire
Inter-Armées, popularly known as EMIA) like any other student, studied and
graduated there like any other student? They did, before becoming presidents.
