THIS SUGARY IRIS FOR YOU ON VALENTINE`S DAY

(For Tong Sybeline)

Same to you, sir

On this day when hearts meet and fuse together

And heart beats become faster and louder

For everyone to sea and hear

I stand here clad not in a coat of fur

But holding aromatic bouquets of gorgeous Iris flowers

High up in God`s ornate, exquisite and complex sky

For all to see

And as you gaze

And attempt to decipher the secret semantics of it all

Its countless multicolored petals

Its very masculine stamen

The highly feminine ovules and ovary

And its mother-nature receptacle and sepal

I shout out to you

“Happy Valentines!”
