THE WORD TO MOVE IS `LOVE`
-----------------------------------------
(For Melissa)
This is the poem that springs from the inscription, “move” which you wore
and the rest of us in class noticed and analyzed – all of that, within the context of the journalism lesson we had last week.
-----------------------------------------------
Move!
And I mean it!
Get up and walk!
Don`t just sit and fold your arms
The world is not like that
Neither is life
Those who stand still
Turn into a pillar of salt
Or have the grass grow under their
feet.
Let everything revolve around love
In order to avoid the dark pit
Don`t go for the remains, go for the
bulk
Like our forefathers did on their
farms
Know that not every carpet is a mat
Even if falsehood is rife
At the end of the day someone has to
pay the bill
So, you they will either denounce or
exalt
That`s why in JMC we`re all neat.
